Bio:
JORGE VALVERDE-REBAZA obtained his Ph.D. (2017) and Master's degree (2013) in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. He conducted scientific and research visits at the Laboratory of Informatics, Robotics, and Microelectronics of Montpellier (LIRMM) at the University of Montpellier, France, in 2015, and at the Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support (LIAAD) at the University of Porto, Portugal, in 2014. An expert in Artificial Intelligence with a focus on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models, Data Mining, and Complex Networks, he has worked as an Engineer, Consultant, AI & Tech Lead, Project Manager, Researcher, and educator on projects related to Social Computing, Urban Computing, Health, Data Science & Analytics, and Software Engineering.
Jorge Valverde-Rebaza has published more than 20 scientific papers in conferences and high-impact journals, has won best paper awards, has attracted several funds for research and innovation projects, and has received several recognitions for his teaching work. He works as a full professor at Tecnologico de Monterrey, where he carries out research focused on Artificial Intelligence applications on topics related to sentiment analysis, future skills, among others.
